MAO Creative Collective is a community of passionate creators, storytellers, and leaders who are helping shape the future of the overlanding and outdoor space. It brings together YouTubers, content creators, community organizers, nonprofit leaders, and other individuals who are making a meaningful impact by educating, inspiring, and connecting people through adventure.

More than a partnership, the Creative Collective is a place to collaborate, share ideas, and build something bigger together. Members work alongside MAO to amplify stories, support meaningful initiatives, create authentic content, and strengthen the overlanding community for everyone.

The MAO Creative Collective recognizes individuals who lead with purpose, invest in their communities, and believe that the best adventures are the ones that inspire others to get outside, explore responsibly, and give back.

Jessie is focused on teaching real-world off-road skills and building rigs meant for the trail. Through hands-on classes, trail education, and a Gladiator build on 37s, she helps others gain confidence in the backcountry.

For far too long first responders have been overlooked when it comes to our mental health and well being. Patty Upton

Patty Upton is a lifelong traveler, explorer, and overland adventurer. From growing up in a Marine Corps family to joining Loren Upton on the legendary Sand Ship Discovery expedition, travel has always been at the heart of her life. Today, Patty travels across the country sharing the story of the 1966 CJ-5 that earned a place in the 1992 Guinness Book of Records. She has logged more than 140,000 miles towing the Discovery, competed in the 2025 Rebelle Rally, and co-authored Road’s End to Road’s End, the story of their remarkable expedition.
